Worth the trek, if you can find it. I really recommend plotting it out on Google first. I followed the directions EH gave to the car park, but if I had ignored that and simply followed the sign that pointed in the opposite direction I could have driven a lot closer. Instead we went from the car park and following the information board there, had us trek around a cabbage field (reminder: trespass is NOT illegal in the UK and is a civil matter - there is nothing they can do to stop you) to eventually reach it. You WILL need a torch, preferably a proper one. The place is steeped in history, even if small. Go as far as you can to the end, which requires a little crouching, and sit down and turn off the torch. You'll be in perfect, absolute blackness, now imagine our ancestors and how close you've become to them.

It is what it is. If you like a small passage you'll love it

Great, free place to explore whilst on route elsewhere (will only take you 30 minutes to have a really good look around). Very difficult to find now that they have changed to route in and the signs stop way before you reach the Fogou, had we not been in the past I don't think we would find it again.

Entirely worth a visit! The pin is in the right place on the map and the estate seems to be accessible round the clock - we visited at about 6pm.

Worth the little detour into the Estate, then walk up hill on a stony track. The energy of this site was intense. You can walk through subtranion passages and then crawl further, if you dare, into the lower tight slots. The mystery of the place is in the air. Peaceful grass site on the top in a remote location. Not accessible if you have mobility concerns. Go explore her passages 😛❤️

Spooky little place, make sure you take a torch and get far in and turn them off😬 It a 10min visit to something a little different, finding it is half the fun and the small hamlet of cottages are stunning. Very limited parking although you won't be there long.

You have to decide for yourself whether it is worth going there. There are 2 small caves that you can explore on your own. They are not big, but you need light because the caves are natural.

Bonkers little place... Lots of "connected to the ancestors" feels - really quite magical. Not for the claustrophobic and you will need to be able to scrunch right down to get right inside...

Nice historical landmark to find - We didn't trust Google Maps at first as the roads are very narrow and bumpy. You go up a steep road to get to it however there is parking near a little cottage. As for the landmark itself, it's fun! Only expect to spend about 10 minutes there as it is only a 30-meter tunnel, but there were no spiders that I could see as there is a lot of water. Be aware that to be able to walk through most of the tunnel you have to crouch down quite small to fit under - But there is more headroom as you go. Interesting.

Only a small place and a bit tricky to find but was worth it. Kids loved it. Make sure to take a torch. Even the dog went in.
