Closed on a Saturday due to wedding. Went Sunday but they were only concerned with wedding guests. Couldn't get breakfast because of the wedding the day before. Only had paper cups left. Had to ask for a teaspoon utility only had a dessert spoon to stir our drinks. If they are selling weddings then perhaps they need to re-think their staffing issues. They obviously didn't want new business. Waste of time

Cornwall Wildlife Trust used the training room at Children Sailing Trust’s HQ for an away day this October and had a fantastic experience. The staff were welcoming and helpful (before and during the day), the space is fantastic and practical, and having the option for the team to swim helped make the day more memorable than typical away days. Huge thanks to the team for their help and hospitality.

We went for lunch as it had been recommended by a friend who had visited for coffee and mentioned how lovely it was. She was right, it was stunning. Very busy as you would expect for this time of year but there is plenty of seating, both inside and out. The food was excellent and considering how busy it was and it is only a small kitchen, we did not have to wait too long for our food. Would thoroughly recommend.

Only been open 18 months or so. Although you can hire boats, paddle boards etc and also launch your own craft,we called to check.out the Cirnish Food Hub. Really interesting range of food . Staff are very friendly and professionally trained. Dogs are allowed on leads Very well well worth a visit.

Fabulous little gem of a place. Just went on the off chance today [ 1/4/2022] and they fitted me in for a single kayak hire for a hour. The cost is very reasonable at £12. You get any equipment that’s needed in the price. I have my own kayak but as the weather at sea was just to crazy, my husband had a lovely idea to try this lake. So glad he did. The staff are really super helpful and very knowledgeable on their water sports. I’m in my 60s and didn’t feel awkward at all. They will also let you launch your own kayak for a £5 launch fee which I think is a brilliant price. The facilities for changing have toilets and showers and are very clean and tidy. There was also a cafe for my husband and our dog to wait for me. Brownie points for husband and my dog for being a good pooch 😀. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area with my own kayak. Lovely time had by all.

Amazing, amazing. Never new thus place existed until yesterday when we were taken for breakfast. Such a beautiful picturesque location, the lake is fantastic offering various water sports (non motorised thankfully). We sat outside as the weather was good, great choice of breakfast we had full English and it was absolutely delicious couldn’t fault one thing. The coffee and teas were excellent and most importantly-hot! They warm the cups which is a rarity now a days I feel so 10/10 for this one simple thing alone. They also have a fabulous range of cakes do if tea/ coffee and cake us your thing this is also for you. Highly recommended and I will be back very soon.
